Yes, Navtil can cause diarrhea as it is one of the adverse gastrointestinal effects. Diarrhea is the passage of loose and watery stools, at least 3 to 4 times a day. Your doctor might recommend an anti-diarrheal if you face this problem.
No, patients with the bone marrow symptoms should not be given Navtil because they might develop hypersensitivity.
No, Navtil does not cause anxiety. Rather, it is used for the treatment of generalized non-psychotic anxiety. However, it is important to note that Navtil should not be administered more than 20 mg for more than 12 weeks as prolonged and higher use can cause a side effect known as tardive dyskinesia (neurological uncontrolled facial and jaw movements) which manifests as a mental disorder producing symptoms such as jerking and repetitive movements of the tongue, neck and face. The symptoms might continue even after the stopping Navtil.
