Mucosol is a prescription drug, available for use as Syrup. Secondary and off-label uses of Mucosol have also been mentioned below.
Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Mucosol. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.
The most common side effects of Mucosol are Skin Rash, Dizziness, Nausea or vomiting. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Mucosol as well, which are listed below. Normally, these side effects of Mucosol are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. Consult your doctor if these side effects become worse or stay for a longer duration.
Furthermore, you should know that effect of Mucosol is Severe for pregnant women and Severe for women who are breastfeeding. In addition, Mucosol's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Mucosol related warnings section.
