Dobutam is a prescription drug, available for use as Injection. It is typically used for the treatment of Heart Failure.

The optimal dosage of Dobutam is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Dobutam as well, which are listed below. Normally, these side effects of Dobutam are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Furthermore, you should know that effect of Dobutam is Safe for pregnant women and Safe for women who are breastfeeding. In addition, Dobutam's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Dobutam related warnings section.
