The tablet should be swallowed with water, the syrup should be taken with a measuring spoon or a container and lozenge should be allowed to melt inside the mouth. Dmr is taken every 4 to 12 hours as per the requirement. It is important to read the label carefully and follow the instructions completely. If you are giving Dmr to a child then make sure it is not given to a child younger than 4 years old. Also, make sure that you are using a brand that is exclusively for children. No, Dmr is not safe for infants as the safety and efficacy are yet to be established in infants and young children. It can be, however, given to children above 4 years of age but one should give Dmr to children only after consulting a doctor.
