No, Diprobate G Plus Cream Should not be stopped or discontinued without doctors advice. You are recommended to always consult a doctor before discontinuing this medicine. Suddenly stopping Diprobate G Plus Cream can cause withdrawal symptoms such as fever, joint pain, and feeling of discomfort. To avoid the withdrawal symptoms, the dosage of this drug should be reduced gradually. Please consult your doctor if you are experiencing any withdrawal symptoms after stopping/discounting it on your own.
Diprobate G Plus Cream comes as a tablet and solution and it should be taken by mouth once daily or as advised by your doctor. Precautions must be taken in patients with hypertension (BP), ulcerative colitis, osteoporosis, glaucoma, diabetes, and peptic ulcer. Your doctor may tell you to follow low-salt, potassium-rich, or high-protein diet if you are taking Diprobate G Plus Cream. A topical form of this drug (Cream, Ointment) should be applied gently on affected area 1 - 2 times daily as directed by the doctor.
Yes, Diprobate G Plus Cream can be taken with paracetamol. No harmful drug interaction has been reported between them. However, if you feel any unpleasant effects then consult your doctor.
Yes, Diprobate G Plus Cream is safe to use, if taken in a prescribed amount for a specified time as advised by the doctor. However, few side effects are observed at therapeutic doses such as fluid retention (swelling in your hands or ankles), increased appetite, increased sweating, and stomach upset. This is because a long-term use of Diprobate G Plus Cream can cause Vitamin B12 deficiency. Stomach acids help in the absorption of Vitamin B 12, and this drug suppresses stomach acid which is required for the absorption of vitamin B12. Hence patients taking Diprobate G Plus Cream for a long time have Vitamin B12 deficiency. To replenish Vitamin B12 in your body your doctor prescribes this vitamin along with this medicine.
