No, Conrin does not cause high blood sugar (hyperglycemia). It has not been reported by the patients who are taking it. You are advised to monitor your blood sugar level on daily basis. If you notice high blood sugar levels after taking this drug, then discuss it with your doctor who might change the dosage of your current medications.
Ideally, Conrin should be taken by mouth once daily but it can be taken twice in some cases depending on the severity of symptoms or as advised by your doctor. It should be taken before 30 minutes of eating food to prevent acidity and heartburn. Precautions must be taken in patients with hypersensitivity and improper liver function.
Yes, Conrin can cause dry mouth. It is a rare side effect of this drug. If you experience severe dry mouth after taking this drug, keep yourself hydrated with juices, shakes, and ample water.
Yes, you can take Conrin for acidity as it decreases the release of acid in your stomach which is responsible for acidity, burping, and discomfort in your stomach. You are advised to take it before a meal or as prescribed by your doctor.
No, Conrin does not causes bloating (swollen belly after eating food which might be caused by excessive gas production). It has not been reported by the patients who are taking it. If you are experiencing bloating after taking this medicine, then try eating less spicy and fibre rich food also try to eat food in less quantity at a time. Taking probiotics or digestive enzyme supplements might be helpful in reducing bloating.
