Betawok is a prescription drug, available for use as Injection, Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Allergy, Asthma, Cancer: causes, symptoms, treatment, medicines, prevention and medicines. Other than this, Betawok has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Interaction between Food and Betawok

Interaction between Alcohol and Betawok
It is difficult to say anything about the effect of Betawok and alcohol. No research has been done on this yet.
Betawok comes as a tablet and solution and it should be taken by mouth once daily or as advised by your doctor. Precautions must be taken in patients with hypertension (BP), ulcerative colitis, osteoporosis, glaucoma, diabetes, and peptic ulcer. Your doctor may tell you to follow low-salt, potassium-rich, or high-protein diet if you are taking Betawok. A topical form of this drug (Cream, Ointment) should be applied gently on affected area 1 - 2 times daily as directed by the doctor.
This is because a long-term use of Betawok can cause Vitamin B12 deficiency. Stomach acids help in the absorption of Vitamin B 12, and this drug suppresses stomach acid which is required for the absorption of vitamin B12. Hence patients taking Betawok for a long time have Vitamin B12 deficiency. To replenish Vitamin B12 in your body your doctor prescribes this vitamin along with this medicine.
Yes, Betawok can be taken with an antibiotic. Taking Betawok with a certain antibiotic (Clarithromycin) can treat H.Pylori associated stomach infection. However, it is best to consult your doctor before taking these two medicines together.
Yes, Betawok can cause stomach upset. It is a common side effect of this drug but the exact reason of stomach cramp is not known. Please inform your doctor if you are experiencing stomach upset after taking this medicine.
