Betawin Forte works by suppressing the body's normal immune response to inflammation which is responsible for symptoms such as swelling, redness, and itching. This results in decreased inflammation and provides relief from the symptoms associated with it.
This is because a long-term use of Betawin Forte can cause Vitamin B12 deficiency. Stomach acids help in the absorption of Vitamin B 12, and this drug suppresses stomach acid which is required for the absorption of vitamin B12. Hence patients taking Betawin Forte for a long time have Vitamin B12 deficiency. To replenish Vitamin B12 in your body your doctor prescribes this vitamin along with this medicine.
Betawin Forte is not a pain-killer. It belongs to the class of drug called steroids, which helps in relieving the symptoms of allergies and inflammation.
Betawin Forte comes as a tablet and solution and it should be taken by mouth once daily or as advised by your doctor.
