Azyric is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Ear Infection, Tonsillitis, Pneumonia. Azyric also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Yes, Azyric can treat gonorrhea and chlamydia. For the mild infection, a single dose is given whereas in case of severe infection treatment should be given for at least one week, and response should be closely monitored by a doctor. However, you must consult your doctor before taking any antibiotic for treating gonorrhea and chlamydia.
Azyric is used to treat a number of bacterial infections, such as respiratory tract infection, sexually transmitted disease (STD), pneumonia, bronchitis, ear infection, Lyme disease, Mycobacterium Avium Bacteria Infection, whooping cough, sinuses, skin, throat, and infections of the lungs. It will not work for viral infection and other pathogenic infections such as cold, flu.
Yes, Azyric is safe to use, if taken a prescribed amount and duration as advised by the doctor. However, few side effects are observed such as diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain.
