Interaction between Alcohol and Azitus
Due to lack of research, there is no information about the side effects of taking Azitus with alcohol.
Discontinuing Azitus on your own can increase the chances of bacterial resistance and may cause a relapse of the infection. It is recommended that you always consult your doctor before discounting this drug.
If you are allergic to Azitus then do not take it. If you have already taken it and you are experiencing allergic reactions do not delay inform your doctor immediately.
No harmful interactions are found between Azitus and alcohol, it does not reduce the effectiveness of the drug. However, alcohol can cause liver damage and dehydration in some people which may increase the severity of side effects, if taken together. So, it is better to avoid taking alcohol with Azitus.
Yes, Azitus can treat gonorrhea and chlamydia. For the mild infection, a single dose is given whereas in case of severe infection treatment should be given for at least one week, and response should be closely monitored by a doctor. However, you must consult your doctor before taking any antibiotic for treating gonorrhea and chlamydia.
Clinically no any harmful interaction has been reported between Azitus and oral contraceptive pills. However, the interaction between these two can't be completely ignored. Please consult your doctor before taking these two medicines at the same time.
