Azitru is a prescription drug, available for use as Syrup, Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Ear Infection, Tonsillitis, Pneumonia. Azitru also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Interaction between Food and Azitru

Clinically no any harmful interaction has been reported between Azitru and oral contraceptive pills. However, the interaction between these two can't be completely ignored. Please consult your doctor before taking these two medicines at the same time.

Azitru is not given for the abscess. It is not recommended for skin and soft tissue infection. Generally, a combination of Amoxicillin and Clavulanate is given twice daily. However. it is best to consult your doctor for the right line of treatment for an abscess.
