Interaction between Food and Azitroy

Interaction between Alcohol and Azitroy
No research has been done on this till date. Therefore, it is not known what the effect of taking Azitroy with alcohol will be.
Clinically no any harmful interaction has been reported between Azitroy and oral contraceptive pills. However, the interaction between these two can't be completely ignored. Please consult your doctor before taking these two medicines at the same time.
Azitroy is used to treat a number of bacterial infections, such as respiratory tract infection, sexually transmitted disease (STD), pneumonia, bronchitis, ear infection, Lyme disease, Mycobacterium Avium Bacteria Infection, whooping cough, sinuses, skin, throat, and infections of the lungs. It will not work for viral infection and other pathogenic infections such as cold, flu.
No harmful interactions are found between Azitroy and alcohol, it does not reduce the effectiveness of the drug. However, alcohol can cause liver damage and dehydration in some people which may increase the severity of side effects, if taken together. So, it is better to avoid taking alcohol with Azitroy.
