Azithree is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Suspension, Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Ear Infection, Tonsillitis, Pneumonia. Secondary and off-label uses of Azithree have also been mentioned below.

Interaction between Food and Azithree

Interaction between Alcohol and Azithree
Due to lack of research, there is no information about the side effects of taking Azithree with alcohol.
No harmful interactions are found between Azithree and alcohol, it does not reduce the effectiveness of the drug. However, alcohol can cause liver damage and dehydration in some people which may increase the severity of side effects, if taken together. So, it is better to avoid taking alcohol with Azithree.
Yes, Azithree is safe to use, if taken a prescribed amount and duration as advised by the doctor. However, few side effects are observed such as diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain. If you feel above mention side effects after taking medicine, please consult your doctor right away and follow his/her instructions.
Azithree is not given for the abscess. It is not recommended for skin and soft tissue infection. Generally, a combination of Amoxicillin and Clavulanate is given twice daily. However. it is best to consult your doctor for the right line of treatment for an abscess.
Azithree is used to treat a number of bacterial infections, such as respiratory tract infection, sexually transmitted disease (STD), pneumonia, bronchitis, ear infection, Lyme disease, Mycobacterium Avium Bacteria Infection, whooping cough, sinuses, skin, throat, and infections of the lungs. It will not work for viral infection and other pathogenic infections such as cold, flu.
Yes, Azithree can treat gonorrhea and chlamydia. For the mild infection, a single dose is given whereas in case of severe infection treatment should be given for at least one week, and response should be closely monitored by a doctor. However, you must consult your doctor before taking any antibiotic for treating gonorrhea and chlamydia.
