Its effects may be bacteriostatic or bactericidal depending on the drug concentration.

Can I take Azitag for treating an abscess?

Azitag is not given for the abscess. It is not recommended for skin and soft tissue infection. Generally, a combination of Amoxicillin and Clavulanate is given twice daily. However. it is best to consult your doctor for the right line of treatment for an abscess.
