Azirav is a prescription drug, available for use as Syrup, Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Ear Infection, Tonsillitis, Pneumonia. Secondary and off-label uses of Azirav have also been mentioned below.

Interaction between Food and Azirav
Taking Azirav with food does not cause any problems.
Interaction between Alcohol and Azirav
No research has been done on this till date. Therefore, it is not known what the effect of taking Azirav with alcohol will be.
Take Azirav exactly as prescribed by your doctor, do not exceed dosage. Food does not affect the absorption of azithromycin, one can take it with or without foods but to avoid stomach disturbances take it with a light meal. Complete the entire course of medicine.
No harmful interactions are found between Azirav and alcohol, it does not reduce the effectiveness of the drug. However, alcohol can cause liver damage and dehydration in some people which may increase the severity of side effects, if taken together. So, it is better to avoid taking alcohol with Azirav.
