Azinext is used to treat a number of bacterial infections, such as respiratory tract infection, sexually transmitted disease (STD), pneumonia, bronchitis, ear infection, Lyme disease, Mycobacterium Avium Bacteria Infection, whooping cough, sinuses, skin, throat, and infections of the lungs. It will not work for viral infection and other pathogenic infections such as cold, flu.
Yes, you can take Azinext for a sore throat, if it is caused by bacteria. It's very difficult to distinguish between a sore throat caused due to a viral or bacterial infection. Hence take it only when a doctor has prescribed it to you.
Clinically no any harmful interaction has been reported between Azinext and oral contraceptive pills. However, the interaction between these two can't be completely ignored. Please consult your doctor before taking these two medicines at the same time.
If you are allergic to Azinext then do not take it. If you have already taken it and you are experiencing allergic reactions do not delay inform your doctor immediately.
Azinext is not given for the abscess. It is not recommended for skin and soft tissue infection. Generally, a combination of Amoxicillin and Clavulanate is given twice daily. However. it is best to consult your doctor for the right line of treatment for an abscess.
