Aziblue is used to treat a number of bacterial infections, such as respiratory tract infection, sexually transmitted disease (STD), pneumonia, bronchitis, ear infection, Lyme disease, Mycobacterium Avium Bacteria Infection, whooping cough, sinuses, skin, throat, and infections of the lungs. It will not work for viral infection and other pathogenic infections such as cold, flu.
Discontinuing Aziblue on your own can increase the chances of bacterial resistance and may cause a relapse of the infection. It is recommended that you always consult your doctor before discounting this drug.
Yes, Aziblue can be taken with a proton pump inhibitor. No harmful drug interaction has been reported between them. However, if you experience any unwanted effects after taking medicine, inform your doctor.
