Azdoc, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Tablet. It is typically used for the treatment of Ear Infection, Tonsillitis, Pneumonia. Secondary and off-label uses of Azdoc have also been mentioned below.

Interaction between Food and Azdoc

Interaction between Alcohol and Azdoc

Azdoc is used to treat a number of bacterial infections, such as respiratory tract infection, sexually transmitted disease (STD), pneumonia, bronchitis, ear infection, Lyme disease, Mycobacterium Avium Bacteria Infection, whooping cough, sinuses, skin, throat, and infections of the lungs. It will not work for viral infection and other pathogenic infections such as cold, flu.
No harmful interactions are found between Azdoc and alcohol, it does not reduce the effectiveness of the drug. However, alcohol can cause liver damage and dehydration in some people which may increase the severity of side effects, if taken together. So, it is better to avoid taking alcohol with Azdoc.
If you are allergic to Azdoc then do not take it. If you have already taken it and you are experiencing allergic reactions do not delay inform your doctor immediately.
Clinically no any harmful interaction has been reported between Azdoc and oral contraceptive pills. However, the interaction between these two can't be completely ignored. Please consult your doctor before taking these two medicines at the same time.
Discontinuing Azdoc on your own can increase the chances of bacterial resistance and may cause a relapse of the infection. It is recommended that you always consult your doctor before discounting this drug.
