Azeemune Information

Azeemune is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Ear Infection, Tonsillitis, Pneumonia. Azeemune also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

The right dosage of Azeemune depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. The most common side effects of Azeemune are Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhoea, Headache. While these are the most often observed Azeemune side effects, there are can be others also. No harmful interactions are found between Azeemune and alcohol, it does not reduce the effectiveness of the drug. However, alcohol can cause liver damage and dehydration in some people which may increase the severity of side effects, if taken together. So, it is better to avoid taking alcohol with Azeemune.

For the mild infection, a single dose is given whereas in case of severe infection treatment should be given for at least one week, and response should be closely monitored by a doctor.
