Zyle contains allopurinol which is an antigout agent that belongs to the class of drugs known as xanthine oxidase inhibitors. It decreases the production of uric acid by inhibiting xanthine oxidase enzyme which is essential for the biosynthesis of uric acid.
The dose of Zyle varies from case to case basis depending on the medical condition of the patient. Usually Zyle is taken 1 - 3 times a day with food to avoid stomach upset.
