Yes, Supravate G might cause hair loss (alopecia). It is a rare side effect of this drug and the exact cause behind hair loss is unknown. For partial hair loss, you are advised to use hair solution such as minoxidil.
No, Supravate G does not cause yeast infections. It has not been reported by the patients who are taking this drug.
No, Supravate G alone should not be used for jock itch also known as tinea cruris because it is a fungal infection and Supravate G is not an antifungal agent and it is not effective against fungi. Hence Supravate G should not be used for the treatment of jock itch. For the treatment of jock itch, you can use a combination of Supravate G and antifungal drugs such as miconazole and fluconazole.
Supravate G is used for the short-term treatment up to 2 weeks and if required then maximum up to 4 weeks. You are advised to use it as directed by your doctor. Do not use this medicine longer than prescribed by your doctor to avoid the unpleasant side effect.
Application of Supravate G on the face must be avoided but if it has been advised by your doctor then you can use it only for a short-term period not more than 5 days because the skin on your face thins easily.
