Respira Information

Respira is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet,Syrup. Respira also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Respira. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. This information has been provided in detail in the dosage section.

Respira also has some side effects, the most common being Throat Irritation, Constipation, Heartburn. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Respira as well, which are listed below. Normally, these side effects of Respira are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

How to take Respira?

Tablet can be taken with or without food. Inhalers to be taken preferably on empty stomach to avoid delayed absorption and infections. For children more than 4 years of age and adults, two inhalations repeated every 4 to 6 hours is recommended or as advised by your doctor. Precautions must be taken in patients with hypertension, hyperthyroidism, and diabetes mellitus.
