Xynova Gel Information

Xynova Gel is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Gel. Local Anesthesia are some of its major therapeutic uses. Secondary and off-label uses of Xynova Gel have also been mentioned below.

The optimal dosage of Xynova Gel is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. This information has been provided in detail in the dosage section.

Xynova Gel also has some side effects, the most common being Skin redness. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Xynova Gel as well, which are listed below. Usually, these side effects of Xynova Gel go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Xynova Gel's effect during pregnancy is Mild and Mild while nursing. In addition, Xynova Gel's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Xynova Gel related warnings section.

Can Xynova cause an allergic reaction?

Yes, Xynova may cause an allergic reaction which might manifest as sneezing, wheezing, pruritis (severe itching of the skin), urticaria (localized swollen itchy area), episodes of angioneurotic edema (swelling of the lower layer of skin or mucous membranes and even anaphylactic shock (very severe allergic reaction). If you develop any of these symptoms while using Xynova, please inform your doctor immediately.
