Tritelsar is the brand name for telmisartan. It belongs to a group of medications known as angiotensin II receptor blockers. It is available in the form of tablets. Tritelsar is used to treat hypertension. It is also used to decrease cardiovascular risk in patients who cannot take ACE (angiotensin-converting enzyme) inhibitors.
