Ovel is not a pain-killer. It is an antibiotic that belongs to the class of drug called fluoroquinolone. It is used to treat various type of bacterial infection such as bronchitis, pneumonia, urinary, respiratory, skin, gastrointestinal, anthrax, and bone infection.
Avoid taking Ovel along with milk. It reduces the effectiveness of medicine by reducing the absorption of a drug. Please consult your doctor before consuming this medicine with milk.
Take Ovel if your doctor has prescribed it to you. However, keep a close check on blood sugar levels as metformin is known to cause hypoglycemia( sudden dip in blood sugar levels). In case you are experiencing severe hypoglycemia, please inform your doctor immediately.
