Olkem is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. High BP are some of its major therapeutic uses. Other than this, Olkem has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.
The correct dosage of Olkem depends on the patient's age, gender, and medical history. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. This information has been provided in detail in the dosage section.
Olkem also has some side effects, the most common being Upper respiratory tract infection. While these are the most often observed Olkem side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Olkem normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. Please speak with your doctor if these side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.
Olkem's effect during pregnancy is Severe and Mild while nursing. In addition, Olkem's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Olkem related warnings section.
Olkem is contraindicated in people with pre-existing medical conditions like Bradycardia (Slow Heart Rate), Low Blood Pressure (Hypotension) as it can result in adverse effects. Other conditions have been mentioned below in the Olkem contraindications section.
