Nurostar C Information

Nurostar C is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Injection. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Megaloblastic Anemia, Diabetic Neuropathy, Peripheral Neuropathy. Nurostar C also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Nurostar C. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. The most common side effects of Nurostar C are Gastritis, Rash, Headache. Some other side effects of Nurostar C have been listed ahead. Usually, these side effects of Nurostar C go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Nurostar C works by forming myelin sheath which is used to cover and protect the nerve cells. Nurostar C is used to revive the nerve cells. In the absence of enough Nurostar C, myeline sheath doesn't form properly leading to nerve damage.

Nurostar C is an active form of vitamin B12. It is available in the form of oral, parenteral, and sublingual (under the tongue) formulations.
