No, Movahexy is not a benzo (benzodiazepine). It belongs to the class of drugs known as the anticholinergics which is used to treat symptoms of Parkinson's disease and drug-induced abnormal movements.
Movahexy contains trihexyphenidyl which is an anticholinergic drug that works through correcting the chemical imbalance in the brain by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (neurotransmitter acetylcholine). Blockage of acetylcholine actions results in relaxation of smooth muscles which helps in improving the muscle control and reducing stiffness.
