Mitrapil is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. Depression are some of its major therapeutic uses.

The right dosage of Mitrapil depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

Mitrapil also has some side effects, the most common being Dry Mouth, Headache, Weight gain. While these are the most often observed Mitrapil side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Normally, these side effects of Mitrapil are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

It is also important to note that Mitrapil has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Severe effect on lactating mothers. Warnings related to Mitrapil's effects on the liver, heart and kidney, if any, have been listed below.

Mitrapil is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Suicidal Tendency, Kidney Disease, Heart Disease are examples of such conditions. The section on Mitrapil contraindications lists all such conditions.
