Yes, Linetic can treat UTI (urinary tract infection) but it is not generally preferred as a first line drug of choice for the treatment of UTI. It is only prescribed in UTI when other drugs are not effective in treating the infection.
Yes, oral Linetic can be taken with amlodipine. No drug-drug interaction has been reported between them. It is safe to take Linetic along with amlodipine. However, if you feel any discomfort after taking this drug do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
No, Linetic does not contains penicillin. It contains linezolid which is a broad spectrum antibiotic that belongs to the class of drug known as oxazolidinone. It is effectively used in the treatment of bacterial infections.
Rarely, Linetic causes nausea and vomiting. It is an uncommon side effect of this drug. For relief from nausea and vomiting try to take lime water, avoid eating spicy food even after that if it persists or becomes severe then discuss it with your doctor.
