Hex Information

Hex is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. It is typically used for the treatment of Bacterial Infections, Bronchitis. The alternative uses of Hex have also been explained below.

The correct dosage of Hex depends on the patient's age, gender, and medical history. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

    Hex is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It works by inhibiting enzymes such as topoisomerase II (DNA gyrase) and topoisomerase IV which are essential for the bacterial cell to repair, DNA replication, transcription, and recombination.
