Diospar is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Bacterial Infections, Bronchitis. Diospar also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

The correct dosage of Diospar depends on the patient's age, gender, and medical history. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

Diospar also has some side effects, the most common being Headache, Photosensitivity, Itching or burning. Some other side effects of Diospar have been listed ahead. Normally, these side effects of Diospar are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. Please speak with your doctor if these side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.

It is also important to note that Diospar has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Severe effect on lactating mothers. In addition, Diospar's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Diospar related warnings section.

Diospar is contraindicated in people with pre-existing medical conditions like Myasthenia Gravis (MG), Heart Disease as it can result in adverse effects. Other contraindications of Diospar have been discussed in the sections ahead.
