Gemone, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Bronchitis. Gemone also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

The right dosage of Gemone depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

The side effects typically associated with Gemone include Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhoea, Dizziness. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Gemone as well, which are listed below. Usually, these side effects of Gemone go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

In addition, Gemone's effect is Moderate during pregnancy and Severe for lactating mothers. In addition, Gemone's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Gemone related warnings section.

Gemone can cause adverse effects in certain medical conditions. It is strongly recommended to avoid Gemone in conditions like Myasthenia Gravis (MG), Heart Disease, Tendon Injury (Tendinopathy). The section on Gemone contraindications lists all such conditions.
