Fluzon is a prescription drug, available for use as Lotion, Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Fungal Infections, Candidal Infection, Urinary Tract Infection. Fluzon also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Interaction between Alcohol and Fluzon

Fluzon inhibit the fungal cytochrome P450 enzyme lanosterol 14- demethylase and thus block ergosterol synthesis leading to membrane abnormalities in the fungus. It kills the fungus by destroying its cell membrane.
