There isn't any research available on the side effects of taking Duolin with food.
Interaction between Alcohol and Duolin
No research has been done on this till date. Therefore, it is not known what the effect of taking Duolin with alcohol will be.
Yes, Duolin might cause anxiety. It is a rare side effect of this drug and the exact cause behind anxiety is not known. If you are experiencing anxiety or restlessness after taking this drug, then you are advised to discuss it with your doctor immediately.
Duolin is a bronchodilator which causes widening of bronchial smooth muscles present in the lungs which get tightened causing a constriction. Due to the constriction, the air cannot pass in and out of your lungs, and the relaxation of these bronchial muscles results in dilation of airways. This helps the patients breathe more easily which provides relief to the patient from the symptoms such as wheezing, and chest tightness.
Yes, Duolin may cause rapid heartbeats (tachycardia). It is a rare side effect of this drug. Tachycardia occurs because this drug sometimes stimulates the smooth muscles which are present in the heart. If you are experiencing rapid or increased heartbeats after taking this drug, then you are advised to consult your doctor without further delay.
The effect of interaction between these two drugs is not clear because Benadryl (diphenhydramine) increased sedation while as Duolin decreased sedation. Hence, you are advised to discuss it with your doctor first before taking these two drugs together.
No, Duolin does not cause weight gain. It has not been reported by the patients who are taking this drug. If you are experiencing rapid weight gain after taking this drug, then it might be due to some other reason and you are advised to discuss it with your doctor.
