Yes, Diarsec can be taken with paracetamol. No clinically significant drug interaction has been reported between them. However, if you feel any discomfort after taking Diarsec along with paracetamol then do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
No, Diarsec does not lower the blood pressure (hypotension) at normal therapeutic doses but it can cause this effect if it is taken in more than the recommended doses. If you are experiencing lightheadedness or blurry vision (symptoms of low blood pressure) after taking this drug then try to sit down and take rest for a while till it subsides, also inform to the doctor without further delay.
Take over the counter Diarsec after each loose bowel movement. Do not take it more than 6 times in 24 hours. It is not recommended for long-term treatment. However, if it has been prescribed by your doctor then you are advised to take it as per his/her instructions.
