Copax is a brand name for alprazolam. It is a controlled prescription drug that belongs to the class of medications called benzodiazepine. It is short-acting potent anxiolytic and a minor tranquilizer. It is used for the treatment of anxiety and panic disorder (sudden, unexpected attacks of extreme fear and worry about these attacks).
