Betaflam Information

Betaflam is a prescription medicine that is available as a Gel, Tablet. Other than this, Betaflam has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

The optimal dosage of Betaflam is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

Common side effects of Betaflam include Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhoea, Dizziness. Such side effects of Betaflam normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.

It is also important to note that Betaflam has a Severe effect for pregnant women and Severe effect on lactating mothers. It is important to know if Betaflam has any effect on the kidney, liver and heart. Information on such adverse effects, if any, has been given in the Betaflam related warnings section.

Individuals suffering from medical conditions like Kidney Disease, Asthma, Heart Attack must refrain from the use of Betaflam since this can cause severe adverse effects.

Yes, Betaflam can be taken safely with a less sedative antihistaminic drug like cetirizine and loratadine etc. No harmful effects are reported. However, another group of antihistamine drug which causes drowsiness and sleepiness like chlorpheniramine, diphenhydramine etc. should not be taken together unless and until recommended by your doctor.
