Yes, Moxif is helpful in treating pneumonia. It is used in the treatment of commnunity acquired pneumonia caused by bacteria Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, and Chlamydophilia pneumoniae. The duration of treatment depends on infection severity and patients medical condition but it is generally given for 7-14 days.
No, Moxif does not cause a headache. It has not been reported by the patient's who are taking it. However, if you are experiencing a headache after taking this drug, take a mild painkiller, apply balms and take rest even after this if the pain does not subside then discuss with your doctor immediately.
Moxif contains moxifloxacin (a broad-spectrum antibiotic that belongs to the class of drugs known as fluoroquinolones).
