Micropyrin Information

Micropyrin is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. Micropyrin also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

The right dosage of Micropyrin depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

While these are the most often observed Micropyrin side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. There has been no established research which claims miscarriage after taking Micropyrin during early pregnancy. Infact according to some reports low doses can be safely taken. However, it is best to check with your gynaecologist regarding dosage and right medication to be taken during pregnancy.

Can Micropyrin be used for toothache?

Ideally Micropyrin is not prescribed by a doctor for a toothache. However, in the absence of painkillers such as ibuprofen, acetaminophen, naproxen etc, aspirin can be taken to get instant relief from tooth pain. Generally, for treating toothache arising due to dental cavities and dental procedures ibuprofen along with antibiotics are recommended by dentists to reduce swelling and pain.
