Levoct, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Prostatitis, Pneumonia. Secondary and off-label uses of Levoct have also been mentioned below.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Levoct. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

While these are the most often observed Levoct side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Levoct normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. Consult your doctor if these side effects become worse or stay for a longer duration.

It is also important to note that Levoct has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Severe effect on lactating mothers. In addition, Levoct's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Levoct related warnings section.

Levoct can cause adverse effects in certain medical conditions. It is strongly recommended to avoid Levoct in conditions like Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), Heart Disease, Myasthenia Gravis (MG). The section on Levoct contraindications lists all such conditions.
