Interaction between Alcohol and Lanoxin
Due to lack of research, nothing can be said about side effects of consuming alcohol while taking Lanoxin.
Take Lanoxin once daily or as advised by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. Precautions must be taken in patients with hypertension, heart block, and improper kidney function.
Avoid taking Lanoxin with diltiazem at the same time. Because diltiazem can increase the concentration of digoxin in the blood which requires an adjustment in the dosage of digoxin but you can them together only if it is advised by your doctor.
Yes, Lanoxin may cause diarrhea. It is a common side effect of this drug. If you are experiencing diarrhea after taking this drug then you are advised to discuss it with your doctor.
