Yes, you can take Azibact for a sore throat, if it is caused by bacteria. It's very difficult to distinguish between a sore throat caused due to a viral or bacterial infection. Hence take it only when a doctor has prescribed it to you.
Clinically no any harmful interaction has been reported between Azibact and oral contraceptive pills. However, the interaction between these two can't be completely ignored. Please consult your doctor before taking these two medicines at the same time.
Take Azibact exactly as prescribed by your doctor, do not exceed dosage. Food does not affect the absorption of azithromycin, one can take it with or without foods but to avoid stomach disturbances take it with a light meal. Complete the entire course of medicine.
