Emotrip is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. Depression, Anxiety are some of its major therapeutic uses.

Yes, Emotrip can cause stomach upset. Please inform your doctor if you are experiencing stomach upset after taking this medicine.
Taking Emotrip with diazepam can increase the risk of drowsiness and sleepiness. Breathing difficulties have also been reported. Hence, avoid using these two medicines together until and unless prescribed by your doctor.
Emotrip works by increasing the levels of a chemical messenger that is called serotonin in the brain which helps in regulating the mood and treating depression. It also stops the movement of the pain signal from the nerve to the brain. Hence, in this way, it treats depression and relieves neuropathic pain.
Emotrip is a brand name of amitriptyline. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medications called tricyclic antidepressant.
