Onsat Injection Information

Onsat Injection is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Injection. It is typically used for the treatment of Nausea and Vomiting.

Yes, Onsat may cause drowsiness because this drug has been reported to induce sleep. Ensure you do not drive or do some high precision work. To avoid excessive drowsiness with this medicine you are encouraged to take adequate night-time sleep, keeping distractions out of the bedroom, going to sleep and getting up at consistent times, eating light at lunchtime, putting in some form of a physical activity, avoiding taking naps during the day, and avoiding alcohol at night.

How to take Onsat?

Onsat is available in form of tablet, syrup, and injection. It should be taken as per your doctor's instructions. Ideally, Onsat has to be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. The initial dose is usually taken half an hour before chemotherapy, 1 to 2 hours before radiation therapy and 1 hour before a surgery. Additional doses can be suggested by the doctor as per the individual requirements.
