Podisafe Information

Podisafe is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Bronchitis. Secondary and off-label uses of Podisafe have also been mentioned below.

How to take Podisafe?

Podisafe should be ideally taken with food(a light meal). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Discontinuing the medicine in between may promote bacterial resistance which results in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief. Incase you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.

Yes, Podisafe can cause diarrhea by disturbing bacterial flora of gut. It is a common side effect of this drug.
