Testosterone is a brand name of testosterone and it comes in the form of tablet and injection. It belongs to the class of drugs known as androgens. It is a prescription drug that is given as testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for management of hypogonadism which is a condition in which the reproductive organs such as testes and ovaries are not able to produce testosterone in sufficient quantity or not at all due to any defect or medical condition.
