No, Aquaviron does not cause infertility at prescribed doses. However, if Aquaviron is used in more than the recommended doses than it can suppress the formation of sperms by inhibition of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) which is released from the pituitary gland that can lead to a deficiency of sperms in semen (oligospermia). However, this effect is reversible and fertility is restored after discontinuation of Aquaviron.
