Clodrel Plus primarily relieves pain because it is an analgesic. It also reduces inflammations (swellings) arising due to injuries and infections in the body. Apart from being an analgesic, it works by preventing strokes and other heart-related disorders by, the blood and reducing thromboxane (a chemical) responsible for making the platelets sticky. Hence by this action, it prevents blood clots which further prevents strokes and heart blockages.
Clodrel Plus should not be taken when a person has been detected with dengue. This is because aspirin may cause internal bleeding which can be fatal during dengue. To bring down fever in dengue patients, paracetamol can be given along with plenty of fluids such as soups, juices, and water.
