Betamil N is not a pain-killer. It belongs to the class of drug called steroids, which helps in relieving the symptoms of allergies and inflammation.

This is because a long-term use of Betamil N can cause Vitamin B12 deficiency. Stomach acids help in the absorption of Vitamin B 12, and this drug suppresses stomach acid which is required for the absorption of vitamin B12.
